ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Our Story
CherYsh America Foundation was founded in 2010 to uplift women and children in underserved communities through after-school programs in India and the USA and vocational training for women. As a women empowerment NGO, we focus on enabling long-term change through education, skills, and sustainable opportunities for rural families.
Our approach combines research-driven models and on-ground experience to deliver impactful rural education programs and create pathways for economic independence in low-income communities.

WHAT WE DO

We design and implement community-driven rural education programs across learning, technology, and livelihood development. Our initiatives include after-school learning centers in India, digital literacy programs, and women entrepreneur training.

Our Impact: From Learning to Livelihood
Lives impacted
We have supported over 20,000 children and empowered more than 10,000 families through our education empowerment NGO initiatives.
Programs executed
We implement after-school programs in English, Science, Math, and digital AI literacy, alongside rural teacher training initiatives. Our work also supports rural home-based industries and promotes social inclusion by connecting urban students with rural communities.
Locations
Our programs are actively implemented across Karnataka, strengthening grassroots of rural education programs in India.
Volunteers / partners
Our initiatives are supported by a diverse network of partners, including university student volunteers, corporate volunteers, and tech multinationals. We also collaborate closely with state government bodies and foundations to drive impact at scale.
